Ron Paul: Evolution is a theory, and I don’t accept it. The creator created every one of us and the universe.
Since Charles Darwin published The Origin of Species on 24 November 1859, some groups have tried to declare evolution as faulty. They say it lacks evidence, or even has evidence against it. Do these claims have any merit? Let’s take a closer look.
What is evolution?
One of the most respected…
I’d like to mention that evolution is actually not a theory. Just as gravity is not a theory, electromagnetism is not a theory, etc. Evolution, like gravity and electromagnetism, is an observable phenomenon. Evolution, gravity, electromagnetism are known phenomena; we develop theories to explain these phenomena. It’s common for people to confuse evolution with the theory of evolution, but it’s important to note that the two are not the same thing. Evolution is not a theory: the theory we have developed in an attempt to explain the process of evolution is a theory.
The universe has the added benefit that we can mathematically show how the universe can be self-sustaining, and we have overwhelming evidence that the universe exists. As of yet, we have found no necessity for a deity and continue to lack credible evidence that one has or does exist.
