White Holes: better than brown holes
Yep, that’s right, white holes. Not black holes, white! Scientists have come up with a theory of white holes.
5 years ago, GRB 060614 (Also called Ralph) was discovered. Ralph was a gamma-ray burst but not your average one. As you might know, Gamma-ray bursts are known to be the most powerful explosions in the Universe. They are usually caused by either long bursts (caused by the sudden release of energy from a collapsing star) or short bursts (caused when two neutron stars collide).
Picture above: GRB 060614. A gamma-ray burst that was detected by NASA’s Swift Satellite in 2006. This originated in a galaxy that is 1.6 billion light years away.
Ralph’s gamma ray burst lasted for 102 seconds, which is a long burst type of Gamma-ray. The strange thing is, there are no supernovae recorded anywhere in Ralph’s vicinity. This was something completely unexpected and new, which made it wonderful but baffling. Now, 5 years later, this is a theory!
Now, five years later, a theory has emerged: it could be a white hole. So what is a white whole?
Well, “White Holes” only exist in theory so far. White holes are like black holes in reverse. Where as with black holes nothing can escape, then a white hole is an object where nothing can enter (it can only radiate energy and matter).
So how do these “White Holes” form? (Zoom on picture here: http://www.cosmonline.co.uk/how-white-holes-might-be-created)

So here we have it, White Holes, what do YOU think about them?
Note: I’ve mentioned a lot that White Holes are this and that, this is only in theory, we don’t know this to be true yet!

hope it’s true because that makes total sense… everything in a black hole has to go somewhere unless it’s all...
